What will be your 30 day challenge?

So, I’m toying around with idea of issuing the following challenge to myself. To Read 100 pages per day for 30 days.

Most people I’ve shared this with said, “Jon, that’s A LOT of reading! Why don’t you shoot for something more reasonable like 30 or 50 pages, 100 is such a big number. Where would you find the time?”

I keep thinking that if we want to life extraordinary lives, we need to be willing to take on unreasonable challenges. We need to push ourselves.

I’ll never forget my good friend Jon Berghoff asking me to run a 53 mile ultra-marathon (yup, that’s two marathons back to back). I said, “Jon, I can’t.” He said, “If you can’t, you must.”

I accepted the challenge, and we did it. It was one of the hardest and most fulfilling days of my life.

What can you do this fall where you would challenge yourself?

If it seems impossible, that may be a clue that you’re on to something good.

Keep stretching yourself and others!

Live an extraordinary life.
